November

November has just been one of them months that has been SO busy. I have a busy little month in front of me as well so Christmas Day will definitely be a well-earned day of just resting my feet and stuffing my face with as much food as possible.

On the 9th of November, me and my lovely parents went on a little family day out to Cheshire Oaks for their light switch on. We were trying to decide between going to a slightly more low key light switch on or a big massive city switch on but I am so glad we went for a smaller one. Even though there was quite a turnout of people, we weren’t squeezed into a small space and we could easily see the tree and the fireworks. And we managed to get some Christmas shopping done too which is always fun. I also went to the Ideal Home Show at Event City in Manchester this year to have a look at some Christmas decoration ideas. For £6.50 per person it was a really good day out and the goody bags weren’t 99.9% leaflets either. The exhibitors this year were really friendly people with really cute Christmas lights and decorations.

I also went to Chester Zoo this month as a little revisit after being there so often over the summer. I absolutely ADORE this place and recommend it to anyone who wants to go. I went on a slightly dull weathered midweek day in term time so it was so quiet and we had pretty much every indoor enclosure to ourselves and when we went on the islands boat trip, we had the whole boat to ourselves too. It was the best trip to Chester Zoo I have ever had as it was so relaxed. To anyone who is planning on visiting for the first time: always book ahead online as it makes getting in so much easier, try going earlier rather than later as then you get the good car parking spaces at the front so when your legs are dead after walking all over the place you don’t have to walk a mile to get to your car and go around the zoo in a circle instead of zig zagging everywhere as you are less likely to get lost.

Finally, not only did I achieve all 3 goals that I set last month (yay) but I have also finally done all the finishing touches to mine and my Mum’s new product range for her business! I cannot believe it is actually completed for the launch this Friday and Saturday (in association with Small Business Saturday). I mean, that’s just crazy… An actual product range that I helped to design. It is called helpmeorganics and it’s a cruelty free, vegan friendly and paraben free product range that currently consists of candles and room sprays but we do have other products in the works that will be brought out throughout next year. It is so exciting. I will be writing a post all about our collection sometime in early December so that you can hear all about it. In the meantime, you could support us by following us on all our social medias as it would mean the world to us:

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/helpmeorganics/

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/helpmeorganics/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/helpmeorganics

In December, I would like to:

  1. Have a successful launch event of helpmeorganics and make everyone happy with our products.
  2. Start to allow the Christmas spirit to take over my life. I just don’t feel that Christmasy at the moment but I am sure with all these festive days out I will.
  3. Go to church and sing my little heart out to away in a manger.

Just a quick note before I end this post: can I just say thank you to the amazing people that either follow me on twitter, like a few of my tweets or even comment on my posts. Somehow in less than 3 months I have over 400 twitter followers and I get the loveliest comments on my posts and it’s so nice! I really appreciate any support that I get.
