I have never been a jewellery kind of girl but I recently watch HelloOctober’s video “What I Wore in a Week” and fell head over heels for the jewellery she was wearing and suddenly had the urge to start wearing loads of bracelets and layering necklaces, which is where my obsession for looking for beautiful jewellery started. I would like to share with you the pieces that I am currently saving up for:
I have seen this necklace everywhere and always wondered where it was from. Now I have finally found it, I am so sad that I have… it’s SO expensive but I adore it. It is beautiful and seems to go with everything and layer beautifully. It’s 18CT gold so I do understant why it’s so expensive but I am currently looking for an alternative that I can actually afford. I don’t fancy £139 sat around my neck haha. I think that it is so stunning, simple and elegant and I really love it.
Pink is my favourite colour so these were obviously going to steal my attention. I have so many stud earrings and I am starting to get a little bored with them. I have loved hoop earring forever but I am started to prefer an alternative, like these. The diamond shape makes them so original and I have a coat that perfectly matches the pink colour on the ends. They are only £12 so I think I may be able to run to that. (Yes, they have now been added to my basket oops… it’s now 10 minutes after hitting “publish” and I have actually purchased these double oops)
Another thing I thought I would never want to wear is a choker. I am really weird about people touching my neck (well, more my throat… I don’t know why I just always have) but since starting to wear high neck jumpers, I don’t really mind about things being near my throat and I would love to try a choker. I think with the right outfit, they can look amazing. This one inparticularity looks amazing! I adore the informality of the different colours but I don’t think it looks childish. I love this one too… I am going to be very poor after writing this post. I will convince myself that I am ordering all these for “blog research”.
These were the earrings that Suzie from Hello October was wearing. I adore them. I have been searching for some small hoop earrings for quite a while as well but I much prefer these. Again, the colour has won me over. There is a fully gold version, which I guess would go with more outfits, but I prefer to add a little colour. I wear mainly monochrome outfits anyway so I may as well add the colour in my jewellery. They are so dainty as well and I have double ear piercings so I could imagine pairing these up with miniature turquoise studs in the hole above. But, again, a little pricey… They will have to go on my Christmas list (yes, I did mention the word. Don’t pretend Christmas hasn’t crossed your mind a little bit.)
Again, I am not much of a bracelet person as I pretty much live in my beloved Michael Kors watch but I wouldn’t be against starting to layer it up with bracelets… it’s even in gold and pink to match it perfectly. The chain is so dainty and the crystals add a lovely bit of texture to the bracelet. Here I go again, another thing that will also “accidentally” fall into my basket but at £15 it isn’t exactly going to break my bank (touch wood!)
And there is my current jewellery wishlist. I appologise now if you want to know go on a jewellery shopping spree like I am going to go and do now. notonthehighstreet.com have some beautiful and original jewellery at the moment and that is where I will be doing most of my jewellery shopping now. I hope you have all had a wonderful day and I will see you tomorrow with day #21.
