Hello everybody and welcome back to my 56 Days of Summer! Today I would like to show you my dress wishlist. I am starting to think about which clothes I would like to take with my to university and I realised that I hardly have any nice dresses to go out in. I have some nice outfits but no really fancy ones so I thought it would be nice to have a look for a few and share my favourites on here. I have only looked at high street stores as I am not at my richest at the moment but I may do a more high end wishlist at some point. So here we go, my dress wishlist:
First we have this beauty from ASOS (what a surprise, ASOS.) It’s the ASOS Drape Back Delicate Backless Midi Dress This is the kind of dress I will happily spend hours in the gym for. It certainly wouldn’t suit me at the moment but I think when I get into having hardly any money for food and a free gym membership, this may magically be added to my basket. I am really into red at the moment and this dress just shows off the colour so much. I adore the neckline and this that it’s so nice to see a dress that doesn’t show your boobs and your legs off. I think I would feel so comfy in this, as soon as a few inches drop off my waist of course haha.
Secondly we have this stunner from River Island. It’s the Green Metallic Wrap Slip Dress. I think this seasons River Island collections are a billions steps up that recent ones. Shopping is probably my favourite pass time so I look a good wonder into shops like River Island but I have never really been blown away with their clothes until recently. I wish I saw this dress when it was in my size. Wrap dresses are a very welcomed trend in my eyes this season as I think they are both beautiful and comfortable. Green is also a colour that I am happy to welcome into my wardrobe. I think it is a really under rated colour in fashion. Strappy dresses are probably one of my favourites and this is pretty much the exact shape of an ideal shape for my size. I am quite small and my upper body is certainly smaller than my lower so I always show off my arms more than my legs. This is stunning and I am hoping that it will magically come back in my size so I can snatch it up.
I am going to put my hands up and admit that I had never even looked on the Pretty Little Thing website before I looked for dresses for this post but I was more than pleasantly surprised. As a small, quite large hipped girl, I have never been a fan of a bodycon dress and I was quite fearful that Pretty Little Thing only sold dresses that were on the tight side but no, I was wrong. When I spotted the Raine White Lace Panel Tiered Mini Dress, I fell in love. Plus, it comes in 7 colours! Again, I adore the high neck line and the layered skirt at the bottom makes it so fancy and girly (which is very me.) I think, if I was going to order this dress, I would have to go for either the navy blue or the white. I find these colours go nicest with my skin colour because I am very pale. Gosh, I am making myself sound ever so beautiful in this blog post: short, big hips and pale haha!
Next we have this really classy LBD from Lipsy. It’s the Mela London Embroidered Wrap Dress. When I was younger, me and my friends used to go to Lipsy to try on dresses for fun like we were fashionable ladies going to the races. I adored this dress when I saw it because it looked so elegant with the embroidery. Plus, it’s another wrap dress! I couldn’t believe that it was only £28 because I would have happily paid a little more. Everybody loves a fancy LBD.
And finally, we have this bardot dress from Oasis. It’s the Bardot Cold Shoulder Dress. This is another shop that I think I have slightly underrated because everything seems so elegant and beautiful yet I have never actually shopped from there. I spotted this dress and, again, I instantly fell in love. I have never been a far of a bardot style top/dress because I feel like my shoulders look better when my arms are completely out but I think this wouldn’t look as adorable if it wasn’t bardot. Not only in the style stunning but it stops at such a nice and flattering length, which I think may be longer on my if I tried it on but not too long. Plus, navy blue is a stunning colour that flatters everybody. But, if you aren’t a fan of navy blue then I did also spot it in a berry red. And it’s now on sale, the temptation to order this is so hard to resist but I am going to stay strong (lol, I probably won’t but let’s try.)
And there’s all five. I have linked every dress in case you get as tempted as I am to order. I hope you have enjoyed today’s post and I will see you again tomorrow for day #29 (oh my gosh, half way there that’s crazy!)
