September 2017

How is it the last day of September already? How have I already had two weeks off blogging? How have I already had 2 weeks at university? To all the other 18 and 19 year olds out there that are reading this, isn’t this bit after college the weirdest and most hectic part of your life? Honestly, I feel like my day-to-day routine has just flipped on it’s head and completely changed. This month started so differently to how it ended. I started out sat in my pyjamas at the computer blogging every day to getting up in a bed miles from my home and grabbing my breakfast quietly so I didn’t wake my hungover flat mates up. Then, head off to a lecture which is about a 10 minute walk away from where I am staying and sit in a lecture room full of people I hardly know. Crazy.

But, this September has been a good one overall. Even though the start to my university life didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped (I will get onto that in a later post because I want to be a little more experienced at university when I talk about it), I am starting to now enjoy myself. My lectures have started and my seminars start next week. My room is quite nice and smells like me now… Well, smells like Dettol room spray but my room at home smells similar to that anyway. I am also feeling much more relaxed in Liverpool and know my way around the city much better. Everything I need is so close to my accommodation, which is SO handy. Obviously, as I’ve mentioned, I will do all of the normal “starting university” blog posts later when I have even more to talk about but, as a little mini update, it’s going generally well.

Something I do want to mention is the fact that I completed the 56 Days of Summer. I honestly thought that I would have to skip a day or cut the amount of posts short but I somehow managed to sit down every single day and write a new blog post. I am pretty chuffed with myself. Thank you to everybody who read, liked and commented on my blog posts. I appreciate it so much!

Also, while at university, I have been making the most of having a TV in my room with Netflix on it and have started watching Gilmore Girls. Yes, I know, I am like 10 years late but it’s better late than never. Even though I only started 4 days ago, literally 10 minutes before I started writing this post, I finished season 1. I love it SO much! If I could have designed a series perfect for me then this would be it, even though I would have put more of a focus on Rory and Dean than Lorelai and her fellas. I adore Dean! You watch, now I have said that he will be horrible to Rory and I will hate him but right now, I adore him.

Currently, I am busy getting everything ready for tomorrow as the helpmeorganics Christmas range is being released! We have been working on these products for God knows how long so it’s so lovely to be able to put them in front of the world (finally). This is my ultimate favourite scent and I can’t wait for everybody to smell the products and agree with me. If you would like to support us and have a peek then you can tomorrow on our website and social medias. I will link the website HERE and the social medias are @helpmeorganics.

And that’s it! My university life at the moment is still SO busy so I am still going to be a little quieter than I have been on here. But, I will be back to blogging properly in a less sporadic way in the next few weeks. I hope you all have an amazing October!

Your blog is so cute, I love everything about it!!!
That really threw me back to my first year at uni – I also embraced the ‘no one is watching so I can watch as much Netflix as I want’ life haha but never quite started Gilmore Girls! Is it worth it?? What other show does it compare to??
I look forward to reading more of your writing! xoxo

Thank you love! Gilmore Girls is a nice and easy thing to watch when you want something on in the background or something – I do love it when I just want to relax so I would recommend giving it a try x
